Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and portion ingredients for daily kitchen operations
Support chefs with cooking assigned dishes according to recipes
Monitor quality, taste, and presentation of all food items
Check temperature of appliances and food to ensure standards
Prepare cold foods, chop produce, and maintain workstation setup
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and stoves
Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, tools, and equipment
Follow safety, hygiene, and food handling policies
Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory
Collaborate with team members during busy service periods
Skills Set
- Basic cooking techniques
- Knife handling and preparation skills
- Food safety and sanitation knowledge
- Station organization and time management
- Equipment operation and maintenance
- Attention to detail and consistency
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and preparation standards
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Willingness to learn and support the culinary team
