Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution systems, ensuring power delivery to consumers.
- Perform pole climbing, operate bucket trucks, and utilize specialized tools to access and work on energized and de-energized power lines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical equipment, identifying and resolving issues such as faulty transformers, broken conductors, and damaged insulators.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, restoring power during outages caused by storms, accidents, or equipment failures, often working in challenging conditions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in electrical line work, providing practical skills and knowledge.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), enabling the operation of specialized equipment.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as those related to electrical safety and pole climbing, confirming expertise.
