Logistics Analyst - Transport & Scheduling

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Logistics Analyst with strong expertise in Transport Order management, shipment tracking, scheduling, and fleet coordination. The candidate must be capable of working in a cross-functional environment and driving operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate should be ready to start from scratch, build processes where required, and take ownership of logistics operations improvement initiatives.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Transport Orders (creation, validation, monitoring, and closure).
• Plan and coordinate pickup and delivery scheduling to ensure timely execution.
• Track shipments in real time and proactively resolve delays or disruptions.
• Coordinate with fleet teams for vehicle allocation and utilization optimization.
• Work closely with warehouse, supply chain, procurement, and store operations for seamless execution.
• Analyse logistics performance metrics (OTIF, lead time, truck utilization, waiting time).
• Prepare operational reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process automation and system enhancement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and transport lifecycle.
• Experience in scheduling and dock coordination.
• Understanding of fleet operations and routing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP knowledge
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in high-volume operations.

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferably from retail industry or 3PL
