Position Overview

Atlantis The Palm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support the daily operations of the logistics department. This role plays an essential part in maintaining the flow of goods and materials across the resort, ensuring accuracy, hygiene, and efficiency in all logistics processes. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing materials while upholding the brand s exceptional operational standards.

Key Responsibilities


* Support Logistics Team Leaders and Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth material flow.
* Inspect received goods for quality, quantity, price, and delivery accuracy based on purchase orders.
* Check materials for defects or spoilage during the receiving process and report issues promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the logistics store in compliance with company and municipal regulations.
* Assist in labeling, organizing, and stacking goods in proper storage areas.
* Update supervisors and clerks regularly about stock levels and day-to-day operational matters.
* Support in stock rotation, physical inventories, and documentation as required.
* Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure the department operates efficiently.

Ideal Profile

* Minimum secondary education; diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
* Prior experience in logistics, storekeeping, or warehouse operations within a hospitality or retail environment preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to handle physical work in a fast-paced setting.
* Good communication and teamwork skills with a courteous and professional attitude.
* Basic understanding of inventory procedures and hygiene standards.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
