Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the efficient flow of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and minimizing delays within Al Ain and surrounding areas.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and addressing discrepancies promptly.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to facilitate smooth logistics operations and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations, adhering to local regulations.
  • Negotiate rates with shipping companies and freight forwarders to secure cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in logistics operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics coordination
  • Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
  • Exhibits proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Displays strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle complex logistics challenges.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Exhibits a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.
