Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless movement and management of goods. This position demands excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle scheduling, inventory management, and transportation logistics efficiently. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire supply chain, optimizing the flow of materials and products, and ensuring timely delivery to customers. This role requires the ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected challenges effectively while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with vendors, clients, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the logistics supply chain process from start to finish.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to meet customer demands.
- Liaise with transport companies to schedule shipments and deliveries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all logistics transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overages in stock.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle any logistic issues that arise promptly and propose viable solutions.
- Oversee the import/export processes and comply with relevant regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and resolve any inquiries.
- Work with internal teams to improve product distribution and warehousing processes.
- Analyze logistical data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Support the implementation of technology solutions to enhance logistics operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or related role.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues efficiently and effectively.
