Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Analyze transportation costs and negotiate contracts with carriers to secure the best rates and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is essential.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations is required.
Certifications such as APICS CPIM or CLTD are highly preferred to demonstrate expertise.
Experience in international shipping and customs regulations is a significant advantage.
Knowledge in UAE FreeZone customs documentation.
Knowledge with Dubaitrade web portal and Dubai chamber of commerce.
