Logistics Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Officer to manage and coordinate the movement of goods, materials, and shipments within and outside the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics procedures, import/export regulations, and supply chain coordination. You will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries, cost-effective operations, and smooth logistical processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies for timely delivery.
• Ensure accurate documentation for imports, exports, and local deliveries (e.g., invoices, packing lists, B/L, COO).
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely arrival and resolve any delays.
• Maintain up-to-date records of logistics activities and shipping schedules.
• Liaise with customs clearance agents and ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations.
• Optimize logistics costs and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, warehouse, and finance.
• Handle claims related to lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.
• Ensure proper storage and transportation of goods, including temperature-controlled shipments if applicable.
