Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and monitor import/export shipments, ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
  • Plan and oversee local and international transportation of goods, focusing on cost-efficient shipping solutions.
  • Manage warehouse activities, including inventory control, stock accuracy, and order fulfillment.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Prepare shipping documents, customs declarations, and invoices.
  • Track shipments, analyze freight costs, and identify areas to reduce overall logistics expenses.
  • Negotiate with freight forwarders and carriers to obtain the best rates and service terms.
  • Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and generate periodic reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), freight costs, delivery times, and logistics efficiency.
  • Continuously review and improve logistics processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in the plastics, chemical, or polymers
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Proven track record in reducing logistics or shipping costs through process improvements or vendor management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
