Roles & Responsibilities

Export Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate the export of goods, including booking shipments, scheduling pick-ups, and monitoring shipments.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Documentation Management:

  • Prepare and verify shipping declarations, SI and VGM.
  • Review B/L drafts and finalize needed amendments in timely manner.
  • Request and review freight invoices before payment.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay updated on international shipping laws, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
  • Verify that all shipments comply with export regulations and maintain proper records for audits.

Customer Communication:

  • Provide timely updates to customers on shipment status, delays, or issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipping or documentation.

Logistics Optimization:

  • Negotiate shipping rates and terms with carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Prepare a Monthly Updated Freight Rate Report to the frequently shipped destinations.

Problem Resolution:

  • Address and resolve issues such as shipment delays, lost cargo, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve any export-related concerns.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare reports on shipment performance, costs, and compliance metrics.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.

3+ years of proven experience in export logistics, international shipping, or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of export documentation and trade compliance regulations.

Strong digital skills, preferably previous hands-on experience on Odoo ERP system.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
