Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods across all channels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize shipping schedules and reduce transportation costs.
  • Implement and enforce safety and compliance standards in line with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse personnel to maintain stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans.
  • Lead and train logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Manage transportation budgets and negotiate contracts with carriers to achieve favorable terms.
  • Utilize logistics software and technology to streamline processes and enhance tracking capabilities.
  • Address and resolve any shipping or delivery issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present logistics reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and challenges.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, showcasing a strong educational foundation.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, demonstrating hands-on knowledge of the industry.
