Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Inspect, service, repair, and certify essential marine safety equipment, including liferafts, lifejackets, immersion suits, lifeboats, rescue boats, davits, winches, CO₂, foam, and dry powder systems, portable extinguishers, SCBA, EEBD, and fire detection & alarm systems.
Perform annual and 5-year services, load tests, and compliance verifications to meet international standards.
Generate detailed service reports and certificates for clients, Classification Societies, and Flag States.
Assist with onboard installations, drydock projects, commissioning, and emergency repairs. Uphold workshop standards, maintain tools and equipment, and adhere to strict safety protocols.
Represent the company professionally in interactions with clients, crew, surveyors, and superintendents.
Desired Candidate Profile
At least 5 years of proven experience in LSA/FFA servicing within the marine industry. In-depth knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, and other marine safety regulations.
Ability to work autonomously on both workshop and field assignments. Proficient in English for communication and technical reporting.
Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, such as crew members and regulatory bodies.
Preferred Qualifications Certifications from OEM/manufacturers for specialized training.
Familiarity with approvals from major Classification Societies (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR, BV, RINA).
Valid UAE driving license.
