Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain die-cutting and blowing machines, ensuring smooth and efficient paper bag production runs.
  • Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and meet production targets.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect finished paper bags for defects, ensuring they meet specified quality standards.
  • Set up machines for different bag sizes and styles, following established procedures and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational understanding of basic principles.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating familiarity with industrial settings.
  • Certification in machine operation or related field, showcasing formal training and expertise.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating die-cutting or blowing machines, showing practical knowledge.
  • Experience within the paper bag manufacturing industry, indicating relevant industry expertise.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, allowing for clear communication.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery efficiently.
