Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Set up lathe machine, install tools, and adjust parameters.
Read drawings and machine parts to required dimensions.
Perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and boring operations.
Measure finished parts using vernier, micrometer, gauges.
Maintain accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments.
Replace worn tools and ensure proper tool alignment.
Clean machine, remove swarf, and follow safety procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machine operation or related fields are a significant advantage.
2+ years of hands-on experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment, showcasing a solid understanding of machinery.
