Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Salary: AED 1,800/month

Reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor / Engineering Manager

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant with strong welding and metal fabrication abilities to support our agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, hardworking, and capable of building and installing metal structures such as greenhouse frames, fences, and gates.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble metal frames and support structures for agricultural greenhouses.
  • Install fences, gates, doors, brackets, and other metal structures on the farm or facility.
  • Perform welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and metal fitting as required for maintenance or new construction.
  • Assist in repairing damaged frames, gates, panels, and metal components.
  • Ensure all completed structures meet safety, durability, and quality standards.
  • Follow blueprints, technical drawings, or supervisor instructions to execute tasks accurately.
  • Maintain welding tools, equipment, and workshop area in safe working conditions.
  • Support the maintenance team in general tasks when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills & Competencies:

  • Skilled in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Knowledge of metal cutting tools (oxy-acetylene, plasma cutter, grinders).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety, PPE use, and hazard control.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor/agricultural environments.
  • Teamwork attitude, reliability, and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or technical certificate in Welding / Metal Fabrication preferred.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of welding or metalwork experience (agricultural or construction sector is an advantage).
  • Certification in welding or fabrication is a plus.
  • Basic English communication skills.
