Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all mechanical systems (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, Electrical).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ducts, and control systems.
  • Supervise maintenance of firefighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, valves) as per NFPA and local standards.
  • Ensure proper operation of plumbing networks including water supply, drainage, tanks, and pumps.
  • Conduct inspections, performance tests, and calibration for mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and asset data.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other departments for repairs and upgrades.
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure all works comply with HSE regulations.
  • Support the development of maintenance budgets and energy-saving initiatives.
  • Train and guide maintenance teams to uphold technical and safety standards.
  • Prepare technical reports and recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5 7 years in MEP maintenance within facilities or building management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducts, refrigerants, etc.)
    • Expertise in firefighting systems (fire pumps, sprinkler networks, control panels, etc.)
    • Sound understanding of plumbing systems (piping, drainage, water distribution, etc.)
    • Familiarity with BMS and DDC systems.
    • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Certifications (Preferred): HVAC or Firefighting certification, NEBOSH/OSHA safety training.

Language: English required, Arabic preferred.
