Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency through regular inspections and filter replacements.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly, assessing issues, and implementing timely solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Address civil maintenance needs, such as patching walls, repairing flooring, and minor carpentry work, maintaining the building's structural integrity.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Conduct electrical repairs and installations, from outlets to wiring, adhering to safety codes and ensuring electrical system functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts used, for effective tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure efficient workflow and communication.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all building systems and equipment, identifying potential problems and proactively addressing them to prevent breakdowns.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Exhibits strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve a variety of maintenance issues.
  • Possesses physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance, with the ability to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
