Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Attend the maintenance calls and rectify the problems.
Carryout equipment maintenance as planned and update the records.
Make sure the required tools & equipment’s are available and inform Operations Manager, where required.
Update the records upon completion of preventive / breakdown maintenance.
Conduct routine inspection of the machinery in the factory.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines (cutting, grinding, slicing, packaging, conveyors, etc.).
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out repairs promptly.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Ensure all machines comply with safety and hygiene standards in food processing.
Maintain maintenance logs and report equipment performance issues.
Collaborate with production supervisors to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Ensure proper use of tools, spare parts, and maintenance schedules.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate must possess General Knowledge about Machinery Maintenance in regards Mechanical & Electrical aspects like Cold storage Compressor Troubleshooting . Should have Good experienced in Implementation of Preventive & Corrective Maintenance. HACCP & ISO awareness would be an added advantage. Candidates with a food industry background are preferred.
