Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventive and corrective maintenance of production lines, utilities, and auxiliary equipment.
Ensure maximum machine availability and support continuous improvement to achieve the highest Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation-related faults and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
Organize, manage, and maintain critical spare parts inventory to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and HSE teams for smooth plant operations.
Train machine operators on correct machine operation, basic troubleshooting, and first-level maintenance.
Ensure production equipment operates within quality specifications, particularly for food-grade and bottled water standards.
Implement and strictly follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies on the shop floor.
Maintain proper housekeeping, self-hygiene, and work hygiene, especially in hygiene-sensitive water production areas.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and utilities when required.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logbooks, and reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Industrial Maintenance
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience in packaging or bottling machinery, preferably in the bottled water or beverage industry
Strong skills in preventive and breakdown maintenance
Experience with filling, blowing, capping, labeling, and packaging machines
Exposure to automation systems, PLCs, sensors, and control panels
Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and reporting
Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage
