Key Responsibilities

* Attend and respond to guest repair requests promptly
* Resolve maintenance concerns through professional guest communication
* Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room systems
* Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for safe and correct operation
* Carry tools and equipment required for repair tasks
* Identify and operate building utility shut-off valves
* Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and request additional items when needed
* Document daily activities and issues for smooth shift handovers
* Apply basic knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
* Perform painting, surface preparation, minor drywall repair, and wood trim touch-ups
* Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, switches, outlets, and guestroom electrical components
* Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues such as clogged drains and toilets
* Program televisions and support basic in-room device functions
* Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures before performing mechanical or electrical work
* Conduct minor landscaping repairs and support sprinkler system maintenance
* Use computer systems to adjust temperature controls and air handler schedules
* Follow all safety, security, and company policies and report hazards immediately
* Maintain professional appearance and protect confidential information
* Support team members and maintain positive working relationships
* Lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, and moving equipment
* Complete any additional maintenance duties assigned by supervisors

Ideal Profile

* High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
* Experience in general maintenance, basic painting, and surface preparation
* Familiarity with hotel engineering or facility maintenance is an advantage
* Valid driver s license required
* Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge
* Ability to solve problems and follow safety procedures consistently
* Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
* Physically fit to perform maintenance tasks and operate tools
* Reliable team player with attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
