Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.

  • Review prescriptions to ensure correctness, dosage accuracy, and drug interactions.

  • Provide patients with proper guidance on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.

  • Maintain proper documentation and pharmacy records as per hospital and MOH regulations.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the pharmacy store for medicine availability.

  • Ensure compliance with MOH Oman pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.

  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the pharmacy.

  • Handle controlled drugs as per regulatory guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D).

  • Dataflow completed and Prometric passed, or MOH Oman licensed Pharmacist.

  • Valid professional registration/license preferred

  • 2 to 6 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
