Responsibilities
Initiatives Governance Frameworks:
• Formalize process, documentation and methodology for managing programs and initiatives through a project management framework
• Ensure that all initiatives are registered and compliant with our project management framework
• Maintain a master plan for all initiatives
• Review the schedule for all initiatives including assigned resources, outputs and timelines
Initiative Proposals and Addition :
• Review and ensure alignment of new initiative business cases
• Work closely with Business Leads and Strategic planning team during the introduction of new initiatives to agree on the performance measuring criteria
• Manage approval process of introduction of new strategic initiatives
Initiative Planning :
• Review initiative plans through project charters:
• Work breakdown structure, deliverables, and milestones
• Cost plan
• Detailed schedule
• Align initiatives with strategic objectives and business performances scorecards
Interdependency Management:
• Raise interdependencies between initiatives
• Plan interdependency resolution and track execution
Issue and Risk Management:
• Monitor risks and issues which may negatively impact successful initiative execution and require senior management support
• Follow up on issue resolution and track execution
Change Management:
• Administer the change request based on our Change Management Framework
• Review time, scope, team or budget changes required for successful execution of the initiative
• Develop and track execution of change implementation plan
Progress Tracking and Reporting:
• Ensure project execution as per planned timeline and budget
• Track the status of deliverables and milestones for each initiative jointly with the initiative teams
• Prepare consolidated weekly and monthly progress reports
• Conduct calibration meeting with business leads to update the performance scorecard based on the quarterly or half yearly progress tracking
• Manage monthly Management Committee reviews
• Review project closure prior to Management approval
Communication Management:
• Communicate initiative progress for our management
• Manage all projects related information and documentation
• Communicate projects related messages to initiative Owners and staff
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree holder in any management discipline
• Certified in a leading project management disciplines such as Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent
• 6 to 8 years of experience in similar capacity
• Excellent knowledge in aligning strategic programs/initiatives with strategic plans
• Expert in PMI model or other equivalent project management methodology
• Experience working with project planning and project management applications, such as MS Project, Primavera, or related tool
• Excellent in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
