Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Manage manpower, materials, and site resources; deploy additional resources as needed

  2. Develop and maintain construction plans; ensure compliance with method statements, QA, HSE, and environmental policies

  3. Monitor daily site operations, manpower, equipment, and project progress

  4. Conduct site inspections, audits, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance

  5. Resolve site issues and coordinate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders

  6. Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff; monitor performance and develop skills

  7. Optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and material usage

  8. Implement best practices for risk mitigation, cost efficiency, and project delivery

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, or relevant discipline)

  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management of medium to large-scale projects

  3. Proven experience in manpower management, planning, scheduling, and execution of construction works

  4. Experience with substation projects is mandatory

  5. Knowledge of UAE authority approvals (DEWA, FEWA, TRANSCO, ADDC) is an advantage

  6. Proficiency in Primavera (or similar tools) and MS Office

  7. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills
