Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Manager will lead curriculum design, implementation, and cyclical review for Islamic Studies and UAE Social Studies, ensuring vertical progression and meaningful cross-curricular connections to National Identity, heritage, and UAE history. They will design robust assessment systems, drive moderation and quality assurance, and ensure the effective use of data to improve attainment and progress across schools.
Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for building teacher capacity through professional learning, developing subject networks, and fostering innovation in pedagogy. The role also involves working closely with cultural partners (such as the National Archives and the Department of Culture and Tourism) to enrich curriculum experiences, while ensuring full compliance with MOE and ADEK frameworks and safeguarding requirements.
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence student outcomes across a network of schools, contribute to inspection readiness, and champion Aldar s mission of providing world-class education rooted in Emirati culture, values, and national identity.
