Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out marble installation, granite installation, tile installation, polishing, and grouting work
- Perform guest room and public area maintenance to luxury hospitality standards
- Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
- Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Identify and operate shut-off valves for building systems
- Maintain maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies as required
- Communicate daily activities and unresolved issues clearly across shifts
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems
- Perform advanced repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool equipment
- Troubleshoot pumps, motors, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and MEP systems
- Use Lockout and Tagout procedures before performing maintenance work
- Operate engineering computer systems related to preventive maintenance and energy management
- Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and operational rounds
- Train and mentor junior engineers when required
- Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures at all times
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent with vocational or technical training
At least two years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience
Strong hands-on experience in marble, granite, and tile works
Valid driving license
Physically fit to perform lifting, climbing, bending, and manual tasks
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
