Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise daily marine construction activities such as dredging, piling, jetty works, quay walls, and offshore structures.
Allocate tasks to workers, operators, and subcontractors based on project priorities.
Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and safety regulations.
Monitor workforce productivity and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, and marine crew for smooth operations.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality compliance and report any deviations.
Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of marine equipment such as barges, cranes, and boats.
Identify and resolve on-site issues and escalate critical matters to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering / Marine Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in marine construction projects.
Strong knowledge of marine works (piling, dredging, reclamation, offshore structures).
Familiarity with safety regulations and marine operational procedures.
Ability to lead teams and manage site activities effectively.
Good communication and coordination skills
