MAIN PURPOSE
Define, implement and manage the Marketing and Communications strategy for the Middle East in line with HQ guidelines and within a defined budget.
In charge of all Marketing and Communications activities for Chloe in the region with the aim to build brand awareness, maximize visibility and drive sales.
Reports to the Brand Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PR
• Develop a PR strategy on and offline for the region in line with business priorities and ensuring an effective execution by the PR agency
• Brief and manage the PR agency
• Build up strong Media relations with UAE/Panarab press editors, media representatives and bloggers / media influencers
• Management of specific requests from partners and journalists (Photoshoot, image and Press release requests)
• Attendance and coordination of Paris Fashion weeks
• Manage the relation with local influencers and ensure product placements to increase awareness and desirability of the brand in the region
• Define and implement a PR Regional Action plan for Wholesale networks
Events:
• Develop a yearly calendar of events for the Retail and Wholesale networks
• Organize highly qualitative and profitable events
Media:
• Responsible for the media activities of the brand in the region: Media planning & Budgeting
• Develop a Media Strategy adapted to the market and in line with the Brand s guidelines
• Brief and Manage the Media and Production agencies on the media plan and liaise with HQ to make sure Brand s Communication guidelines are respected
• Liaise with wholesale partners on the local media activities
• Manage Coop advertising with key partners
Visual Merchandising Brand image:
• Responsible of the Brand s image in the region: Ensure a perfect representation of the brand in all POS in terms of Visual Merchandising, new concept and maintenance
• Support the regional partners in terms of Visual Merchandising by providing guidelines, regular visits, trainings
Store planning:
• Work closely with HQ Store planner to ensure smooth openings and refurbishments of wholesale and Retail POS in a timely manner and within the budget
• Ensure lay outs are ideal and adapted to the Market taking into account Mall specificities, traffic driver entrances
• Strong interaction with partners to ensure a smooth opening
Pop ups:
• Manage adaptation of WW pop up in the region
• Suggest and negotiate key locations
• Ensure the implementation of highly qualitative and profitable pop ups
Budget Control:
• Manage and control the A&P, Capex and Wholesale budget
Other:
• Define and implement a 360 Marketing Regional Action plan for retail and wholesale
Profile
• At least University degree or equivalent qualification
• Around 5 years solid marketing experience in fashion or retail, experience or knowledge is strongly preferred
• Solid English is a must, French and Arabic a plus
• Competency in marketing analysis, operational management
• Strong interpersonal skills and managerial skills
• Good analytical skills, details-oriented, good planning and organizing skills with ability to cope with changes
• Mature, self-motivated, outgoing
