Marketing and communications manager will effectively generate awareness of OFIS by promoting the brands, products and services under its umbrella through integrated marketing activities and campaigns that span across digital and traditional communication channels. This role requires a thorough understanding of the interior design market in the U.A.E. and the Middle East and will be expected to deliver brand-consistent marketing and communications strategy across a range of strategically planned opportunities in print and online media, trade shows and events.
•Maximize exposure for OFIS and its products in the areas of traditional and digital media, promotions, public relations, trade shows, and events.
•Develop and oversee the execution of the annual events, print advertising and digital advertising plan. Effectively manage the marketing budget and resources.
•Establish relationships with key editors and utilize public relations activities.
•Manages collateral development such as white papers and thought leadership and works with a variety of internal and external parties to obtain copy content, create design, and produce and print materials.
•Increase the use of social media to effectively and efficiently communicate with our internal and external customers.
•Leverage sponsorship partnerships by implementing promotional strategies that drive brand awareness.
•Develop and nurture relationships with the A&D community.
•Foster teamwork with OFIS members and initiate collaboration marketing counterparts in other ESAG entities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required skills and experience:
•A strategic and creative thinker with proven experience of working on diverse and wide ranging communication strategies including all forms of media, public relations, promotions, trade show and event management.
•Advanced skill set in digital marketing tools including effective use of corporate website communications, CRM systems, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly with a range of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
•Experience of representing an organization at external events as their brand ambassador.
•Strong network among the A&D community.
•Brand awareness, design sensitivity, knowledge of different products placement in the market, sectorial analysis of competitors, influencers and major players.
Required education: Bachelor's degree preferably in marketing, media, communications, journalism or related field. B2B experience preferred.
