Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the execution of the Desert Festival marketing campaign one of the UAE s largest seasonal celebrations combining culture, heritage, music, and sport.
This role involves day-to-day coordination between internal teams, external agencies, and on-ground activation partners to ensure timely, aligned, and high-quality marketing output.
This is a freelance contract including a required one-month on-ground stay in the desert during the festival period. Accommodation, food, and essential amenities will be provided on-site.
What You ll Do- Support the rollout of the Desert Festival marketing campaign across content, social, influencer, and media channels.
 - Coordinate with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and third-party vendors to ensure deadlines are met.
 - Track deliverables across multiple workstreams and ensure all assets align with brand guidelines.
 - Assist with logistics and scheduling for influencer visits, PR activations, and live content capture.
 - Monitor on-ground marketing and social activities during the live period and report on performance.
 - Maintain organized documentation, calendars, trackers, and campaign updates.
 - Assist in preparing weekly reports and post-event recaps.
 - Participate actively in internal planning meetings, client check-ins, and daily live operations huddles.
 
Desired Candidate Profile
2 4 years of experience in marketing, coordination, or project support (events or festivals preferred)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; comfortable with reporting tools
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced, live event settings
Willing and able to work extended hours and live on-site in the desert during the event period

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines under pressure
Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
Availability for the contract
