As a marketing executive, you'll contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote a product, service or idea. It's a varied role that includes:
• planning
• advertising
• public relations
• event organization
• product development
• sponsorship
• research
• create awareness of and develop the brand you're marketing
• communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
• help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
• support SEO and content writers in delivering agreed activities
• work closely with in-house design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts etc.
• write and proofread marketing copy for campaigns
• produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
• run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
• arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
• maintain and update customer databases
• develop and implement a marketing strategy (often as part of a wider sales and marketing program)
• evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
• track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management
• monitor and report on competitor activity
• oversee and manage the marketing budget.
• must possess the ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Create and manage project timelines and deliverables with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
Working hours
Working hours are generally 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may need to work some evenings or weekends when organizing or attending events or when working on a big marketing campaign.
• a career in marketing is open to all graduates, but a degree of marketing, advertising or equivalent must be required
• strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills. Must display the ability to problem solve and communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
• proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; willingness and ability to learn and utilize new systems/tools as needed
• excellent organizational abilities; task oriented; attention to detail and follow-through; strong prioritization and time-management skills
• you will need to have:

• copywriting and design skills in order to produce marketing materials for both print and online
