Assists the department head in maintaining and implementing an effective filing & administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
Identifies and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events and target specific ones related to each event separately
Keen negotiating skills to handle potential sponsors and ultimately close advantageous arrangements.
Self motivator and outgoing enabling to socialize and meet with potential sponsors and clients.
Writing skills to formulate all correspondence related to the sponsorship proposals; negotiations and letters of thank s and appreciation.
Assists the department head in handling the events with the concerned departments within the Hotel to make sure that all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts
Responsible for all materials provided by the sponsors
Assists the department head to maintain an effective working relationship with all members of target media, electronic and print, local, national and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.
Hosts members of the media, strategic partners and top clients at the property s functions and events.
Assists the department head in the production of all promotional material, including gathering of supporting data and collateral material.
Takes photographs of all internal functions, Banquet and Conference functions and VIP s in the hotel visiting.
Attends all events and promotions and takes necessary photographs for further marketing communication.
Submits a monthly report to the department head updating on all matters related to the activities within the department.
Attends division and general meetings whenever required
Undertakes such additional duties as may be required by the General Managers, the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM), Marketing Manager and Corporate Marketing team at any given time.
He/she is solely responsible to carry out all communication internal (within Rixos Bab Al Bahr) and external (anything outside Rixos Bab Al Bahr) including but not limited to print campaigns, email campaigns, postings on all forms of social media.
Ensuring that all communication i.e. both internal (within Rixos Bab Al Bahr) and external (anything outside Rixos Bab Al Bahr) including but not limited to print campaigns, email campaigns, postings on all forms of social media is sent for prior approval in writing by the DOSM and /or the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing 'AND' the General Manager of Rixos Bab Al Bahr.
All communication going out has to be printed and signed proof has to be filed for future reference.
Ensuring an operational meeting is chaired by the Marketing Executive with the concerned department heads for any event or activity involving any department.
He/she is responsible to liaise with vendors to produce all signage as per Rixos standards and with the approval of the DOSM and the hotel s General Manager.
He/she is responsible to update all digital boards in the hotel by liaising with the IT department.
To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
Pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.
To assist the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.
To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
