Contribute to planning, implement and measure MET regional marketing programs and strategy supporting through Marketing calendar for all retail business in MET regions. Assist in the delivery of marketing programs across all channels, with a focus on KPIs including sales and revenue growth. Coordinate operational marketing activities in regional sales area.

Key accountabilities
• Assist in the development, implementation and communication of the Marketing Calendar and ad-hoc marketing initiatives for retail & business development.
• Manage the communication and logistical process for campaign/project launch to the business to increase transactions and turnover.
• Take an accurate brief from manager & the business for marketing initiatives, project plan key milestones for agreed deadline delivery.
• Designer/suppliers are accurately briefed and managed to ensure timely delivery within quality and cost standards.
• Ensure effective frontline communication of activities, and implementation. Gain feedback from sales teams.
• Regular store visits
• Delivery of regional newsletter(s).
• Assist manager in regional PR, Communication & Social activities.
• Keep track of marketing expenses and budget.
• Keep track of marketing initiatives and results, update and maintain marketing toolkit for RSA.

Desired Candidate Profile

Role-specific experience and skills
• Excellent copy writing & grammar
• Good design flair (handled popular brands with good guidelines)
• Strong grasp of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator would be advantageous
• High attention to detail, good analytical skills
• Strong administration, project management and coordination of activities including ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver to budget
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to deal with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to lead and work independently with little supervision and deliver on KPIs
• Arabic is an advantage

General experience and personal qualities
• Relevant completed Tertiary Qualification and up to 5 years’ experience in a marketing position
• Tenacity, drive, the ability to operate in a demanding environment, balancing risk with results
• Leadership skills, to be able to lead and own projects from A to Z, and take calls and decisions where necessary .
• Good time management and project management skills.
• Focus on results, proactively solving problems and supporting the business with solutions
• Good commercial acumen
• The ability to working in a paced environment and juggling priorities
• The ability to build strong relationships, developing trust and credibility with customers, partners, peers, teams, internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-aware, open-minded with a high degree of personal and professional integrity
• A passion for our business and what this role will bring to it.
• A good record of performance improvement in their area of expertise, through increased sales, cost management or relevant performance measures will be welcome
