Master Cutter / Pattern Cutter

We are currently hiring a master cutter working for Haute Couture in the GCC.

• · Making first pattern and follow the measurement sheet & design
• · Slashing(cutting) the material (fabric
• · Making the jupon according to the design
• · Guiding the tailor for stitching, finishing and quality
• · Making mannequin (body dress) according to the measurement sheet
• · Checking the prova & dress on the mannequin
• · Draping on the dress
• · Making alteration pattern & dress for old dress to new size & design
• · Doing editing for final pattern according to the final prova (muslin fit) checking
• · Making pattern for draping part
• · Any technical issues on the dress to discuss and resolve issue
• · Helping the tailor to fix the dress appropriately
• · Stitching pattern (related to joints) or any other related pattern to be fixed by self.
• · Draw and cut out sets of patterns.
• · Appointing the appropriate tailor for the piece.
• · Actively responsible for quality control in the tailoring department.
• · Coordinate and cooperate efficiently with the designers.
• · Effective use of the material to ensure minimal wastage.
• · Working and achieving timely delivery of the dresses.
