Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for controlling the flow of materials received from clients and Company Suppliers and delivering them to the construction team according to Company policies and procedures.
Receive, inspect, and store materials and deliver to applicable personnel on the project according to the project schedule and coordinate with Quality Control and Procurement Departments.
Ensure the availability of a minimum stock of regular materials.
Ensure the consistent supply of materials to the construction.
Ensure the inventory is held at minimum levels to reduce storage costs.
Responsible for receiving stock of repeated materials as per norms.
Material Accounting – project & assets.
Preservation & storing practices.
Perpetual inventory.
Annual stock taking.
Annual Material handling system.
Write-off proposal for excess & obsolete items.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proficient in MS Office Package
Planning & Organizing
Documentation
ERP Knowledge: Working knowledge of ERP is an added advantage.
Industry Experience: Candidates having exposure to EPC Oil & Gas companies in the Middle East will be given preference.
