Our oil and gas client in Qatar is looking to hire two Material Coordinators.

Qualification requirement:
B.E/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferably)
Maintenance Experience of minimum 5 years in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical/ Refinery application.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP PM (Preventive Maintenance) and MM (Materials Module) with knowledge of Work order reservation, Tracking, Attachments, SAP PM and MM Reports, PR/PO Tracking, WO History, Material movement history, MRS, etc.

Material job scope:
1. Identify and Reserve Material
The scope involves identifying and reserving material in SAP work orders by,
• Checking job scope/P&ID, piping spec and drawings.
• Checking bill of materials in SAP against equipment functional locations
• Referring to job work packs and Method statements- Integrity, Engineering, Corrosion, etc.

2. Create new material codes
The scope involves creating new material codes wherever material codes are not found existing in SAP system by,
• Working out all detail required for creating material codes.
• Obtaining budgetary offers for cost estimate.
• Initiating MMT (Material Master Template) in SAP MDG platform.

3. Follow-up and Manage Procurement
The scope involves below activities,
• Checking for planned orders and converting it to STR (Stock Transfer) or PR by working with Inventory team
• Following up for PR creation, release and allocation for stock and non-stock materials.
• Following up with Lead Buyer for allocation of PR.
• Evaluating technical offers received in coordination with RME (Reliability & Maintenance Engineering)
• Follow up for approval of technical drawings and other material inspection related documents.

4. Follow-up with Expediting & Shipping
The scope involves below activities,
• Assist Expediting on MOT (mode of transfer) required.
• Follow up for ETA dates and documents.
• Clarify any technical issues.

5. Periodic reports and Tracking
The scope involves preparing weekly reports for material, delivery tracking and for highlighting any material related concerns.

6. Pre-shutdown and Shutdown Activities
The scope involves below activities,
• Planning for pre-shutdown activities like, valve testing, any kind of fabrication work.
• Material issue and binning in containers as per WO.
• Prepare logistic requirements, Adhoc vehicles and work force.
• Manage material movements during shutdown.

7. Post Shutdown Activities
