Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain material inventory databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for project teams.
- Source and procure materials from approved vendors, negotiating pricing and delivery schedules to optimize project costs.
- Conduct material inspections and quality checks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Develop and implement material management plans, including storage, handling, and preservation procedures for various materials.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- Holds relevant certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in material management within the oil and gas industry.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of materials used in oil and gas projects, including piping, valves, and equipment.
