Roles & Responsibilities
The Role:
The Materials Coordinator plays a key role in managing the procurement, delivery, and inventory of materials essential to our ongoing projects. This position ensures that the right materials are available at the right place and time to facilitate operational efficiency and project workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing inventory levels.
- Coordinating the logistics of materials.
- Maintaining accurate records of all materials etc.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all material handling processes.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in materials coordination or inventory management, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and related tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Health and safety training and knowledge of industry standards.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SAP systems and MS Office.
