Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct or supervise tests on raw materials or finished products in order to ensure their quality.

  • Plan and implement laboratory operations for the purpose of developing material and fabrication procedures that meet cost, product specification, and performance standards.

  • Review and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives.

  • Solve problems in a number of engineering fields.

  • Completing, checking, and processing tests and reports.

  • Making geotechnical and QC recommendations.

  • Ensuring that field laboratory is responsible for the technical requirement.

  • Assisting in preparing inspection, embankments, concrete, and pavement.

  • Ensuring that off-site testing and certifications are valid.

  • Checking and reporting on compliance with specifications requirements for compaction, gradation, mix proportions, strength, etc., in construction of embankments, structure, pavements, and incidental item.

  • Establishing laboratory and field testing procedures.

  • Analyzing foundation conditions.

  • Developing and implementing schedule for test frequency, test coverage on all contracts and supervising and directing.

  • Field survey parties to comply with requests surveys.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, a related engineering discipline, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of extensive experience in material engineering, quality control, and construction supervision on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of material properties, testing methods, and standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, ISO).
  • Ability to analyze test results, identify material issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address material-related challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with material testing software, quality management systems, and project management tools.br> br> What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
