JOB SUMMARY
Subject matter expert to coordinate property support during integration of operations workstream:
Coordinate buddy and primer logistics.
Visit and assess properties readiness as well as required level of support.
Monitor task completion on Land-It.
Liaise with continent and hotel leadership as well as with hotel change crew.
Provide cutover support as needed.
Deliver training on new operational processes and procedures.
Conduct webinars for change crews as needed.
Motivate on property change crews throughout the integration.
Consolidate progress reports.
EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
Business/Functional Results
Supports Continent Lead in Integration training, operational deployment, delivery, planning and coordination.
Manages all buddy and primer activities and ensures resources are appropriately allocated to meet the individual project deadlines of each property within the assigned region.
Assess effectiveness of MEA continent training and buddy/ primer support.
Report and escalate any concerns or dependencies as necessary.
Prepare regular progress reports for Senior Manager of Rooms Support.
Interface with the corporate MEA Operations Integrations team to coordinate trainings, resources, and schedules in a timely manner.
Identifies and supports additional requirements of Edge case properties in the assigned region.
Work with implementation/measurement resources on deployment specific details/reporting.
Communication Link between Continent Discipline Integration Team and hotel change crew.
Provide support to hotel change crews and HODs when required.
Follow Up completion of Land It Tasks with respective properties.

Works with peers to develop and implement strategies and goals. Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding goals to produce desired results.
Makes, communicates and executes the necessary decisions toward achievement of goals.
Provides targeted and timely communication of results, achievements and challenges to peers, leaders and stakeholders.
Managing Execution/Building Relationships
Facilitates regular, ongoing communication with continent leadership and hotel change crews, hotel leadership and buddies/ primers.
Positively promotes new operational policy and process implementation in line with continent directive.
Other
Performs other duties as appropriate.
Travel required up to 90% in market.
Position will be based out of Jeddah, KSA.
CANDIDATE PROFILE - KEY TALENTS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED
Experience and Skills
4 years of experience, strong front office operational experience, with experience in Events and training delivery a plus.
Most recent experience must be within a Marriott property preferably in the Middle East & Africa.
Must hold an assistant manager position or higher.
Ability to influence others, build sponsorship for key initiatives
Ability to implement change and accountability.
Strategic thinker with collaborative and creative abilities.
Ability to influence without authority.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Builds relationships across a diverse work environment to include a broad group of stakeholders
Understands and effectively manages in a virtual work environment.
Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity and change.
Fluent Arabic required.
Education or Certification
4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, management operations or related professional area.
Valid driving license.
