Roles & Responsibilities
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and other vehicles used in the oil and gas industry
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and make necessary repairs
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Ensure all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements in diesel and heavy equipment maintenance and repair
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and other vehicles used in the industry
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the oil and gas industry
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Fluent in English,
