Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our Heat Transfer Division in Sharjah, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and fin fan units using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Develop fabrication, assembly, and general arrangement (GA) drawings as per project and client specifications.
Interpret design inputs received from engineers and ensure accuracy in drafting.
Revise drawings and layouts based on engineering changes or client feedback.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and drawing accuracy.
Maintain and update drawing records and document revisions systematically.
Support preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in basic design calculations when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger, or Fin Fan design and fabrication industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of ASME fabrication standards.
Knowledge of safety and structural design regulations.
