Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage site supervision, design reviews, planning, project monitoring, and testing and commissioning activities
- Advise the project management team and client on procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Attend factory acceptance tests and site tests to support successful project completion and asset handover to authorities
- Develop scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements and monitor progress against targets
- Identify and document scope changes and support procurement planning, scheduling, and budget control for assigned packages
- Interface with procurement and subcontract teams to facilitate bidding and technical coordination
- Coordinate interdisciplinary technical resources and support groups to meet project requirements
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions
- Assess technical skill requirements and staffing needs to support successful project delivery
- Ensure client criteria and approved scope are met across all engineering disciplines
- Track and expedite action items arising from meetings with clients and project stakeholders
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for client and project management review
- Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to relevant project teams
- Perform additional duties associated with mechanical engineering supervision as required

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution
- Minimum ten years of experience in site supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring, and testing and commissioning on large infrastructure projects
- Proven experience supervising construction of pumping stations, firefighting systems, chilled water networks, and utilities
- Strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements and approval processes including DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defense
- Proficiency in CAD and standard engineering software tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated potential to perform in a lead or senior capacity
