Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret project specifications, mechanical drawings, and technical documents.
  • Plan, monitor, and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, pumps, compressors, fire-fighting, and utilities.
  • Ensure all mechanical activities comply with design, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for execution.
  • Provide technical support to procurement teams by reviewing vendor quotations and technical compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely completion of mechanical works.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to project schedule and budget.
  • Support QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare progress reports and provide inputs for project documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within infrastructure, civil, utilities, or general contracting projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, pumps, fire-fighting, utilities, and mechanical installation works.
  • Familiarity with international standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced project environment
