A fast-growing confectionery manufacturer in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, is hiring a full-time Mechanical Engineer to support its modern production facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in industrial food manufacturing environments. Responsibilities include overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring equipment reliability. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams on new equipment setups, process improvements, and preventive maintenance programs. A strong understanding of mechanical design, automation, and production line systems is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient factory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
• Perform load and thermal calculations.
• Participate in installation, assembly, and testing of equipment.
• Analyze failures and provide technical solutions.
• Work on drafting, drawing interpretation, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with AutoCAD and mechanical design software.
• Practical exposure to equipment like pumps, gearboxes, and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.
