Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, IFC drawings, and contract documents for mechanical works.
  • Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical reports.
  • Perform heat load calculations, duct sizing, pump head & pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise site installation of HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with local authorities (Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA, Municipality, etc.) for approvals and inspections.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure works are executed as per specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of all mechanical systems.
  • Prepare project progress reports, material procurement lists, and ensure timely completion within budget.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Previous work in residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
  • UAE / GCC experience with authority approvals (DCD, DEWA, SEWA, Municipality, etc.)
  • Familiar with tendering, BOQ preparation, and project cost control.
