Responsibilities

• Dismantle and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts on AC and DC motors, generators and all types of pumps
• Experience in reading, measuring and using instruments
• Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines, electrical cables
• Experience in use of pullers both mechanical and Hydraulic
• Experience in use of heating torch may be and added advantage
• Coordinate with Engineers to work on solutions
• Coordinate with cleaning and painting staff to repair and overhaul equipment
• Dismantle faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
• Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools and dimension measuring equipment
• Check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies
• Experience in removing and installing bearing and seals
• Experience in ready measuring instruments including micrometer screw gauge, grinding, drilling, tapping and reaming
• Ensuring QUALITY of all work all the time
• Ability to work under pressure, night shifts and attend off-site work (AOS)

Requirements

• Mechanical diploma (may also consider others).
• Good command of spoken and written English and Hindi.
• Strong communication skills for effective communication with, senior Management, sub-ordinates, clients, auditors and authorities.
• Able to teach well in English and Hindi.
• Strong leadership skills, with ability to operate in line with the authority
