Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily mechanical operations including installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
  • Allocate tasks to technicians, pipefitters, welders, and other mechanical workers.
  • Ensure all mechanical activities comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Interpret and work from mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers and other foremen for smooth workflow.
  • Monitor material usage and ensure tools and equipment are used efficiently.
  • Maintain daily reports of manpower, productivity, and progress.
  • Ensure proper adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning mechanical systems.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to workers as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman or similar supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, pumps, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices.
