Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector (Saudi National) to join our site supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site mechanical inspections of equipment, systems, and components to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and standards
  • Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical installations, including piping, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery
  • Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and potential issues during inspections
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records of findings
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve mechanical issues
  • Verify that corrective actions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner
  • Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical inspection
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as required
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all on-site activities

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven track record in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, gas, and fuel system inspections
  • Previous experience in engineering consultancies is preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and material specifications
  • Strong proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques, quality control protocols, and industry compliance standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, and local Saudi codes)
  • Skilled in using inspection, documentation, and reporting tools/software
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing and the project lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve site issues efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and reporting
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail to maintain quality standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments
