Roles & Responsibilities

Desired Candidate Profile

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise: Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance teams during both normal operations and planned outages.

• Maintenance execution: Oversee planned and corrective maintenance on various mechanical systems and components, including the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) and Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment.

• Work package management: Develop and implement work packages, procedures, and schedules for mechanical activities.

• Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical systems and components in a timely and correct manner.

• Coordination:Coordinate with engineering, operations, and other departments to resolve issues and manage schedules.

• Safety and compliance: Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with nuclear regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.

• Training and mentoring: Train and mentor junior technicians in mechanical systems and operations.

• Outage support: Support outage planning, execution, and post-outage evaluations.

Required qualifications

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.

• Experience:Typically requires 7-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and leadership roles within a nuclear power plant.

• Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, with a thorough understanding of nuclear power plant mechanical systems.
