Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and analysis of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Oversee the procurement process for mechanical components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in vendor selection.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes during the construction and installation phases of projects.
  • Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and design teams, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Utilize advanced simulation and modeling tools to predict system performance and optimize designs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential for technical credibility.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, preferably in the construction or manufacturing sector.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable for enhanced project oversight.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating and modifying design drawings.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations and simulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for international projects.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges swiftly.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site project management and inspections as required by project demands.
